Welcome to The Riverlands Recreation Area, a family-friendly and pet-friendly destination conveniently located near the scenic and beautiful Susquehanna River. Our campground is the only camping facility in the general area that is open year-round, offering 34 spacious RV sites, 17 cozy rustic cabins, and 40 primitive tent sites, providing a perfect getaway for both adventurers and those seeking relaxation. With a range of on-site amenities, including a large pavilion, large bathhouse, laundry room, propane filling station, firewood, convenience store and a restaurant, we have everything you need for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Whether you’re planning a weekend retreat or a longer escape, The Riverlands Recreation Area is your home away from home.

We are open to the public so bring your family and enjoy spending time in the great outdoors. With the Susquehanna River only minutes away you can enjoy miles of hiking trails, exploring the riverbanks, fishing, kayaking or boating. The local area boasts a variety of dining, shopping, and sightseeing.

The Riverlands Recreation Area is not just for guests staying at one of our cabins, RV lots or tent sites, we also welcome the general public to attend our special events, shop in our general store, have some ice cream, grab a coffee, or enjoy a delicious breakfast or lunch in our restaurant. Take out orders are also available, and we have grab and go sandwiches and salads.
